Motel168 Zhuhai NingXi Road Inn

The company I was working for put is into this hotel for over a month. Overall, the hotel is as clean as Chinese can be. The staff was wonderful, although they seldom speak English. Since I am living in China, that is to be expected...Ha ha. On a more serious note, the hotel really needs to consider their A/C issues. This hotel has a central A/C system. To keep their electric bills low, they turn off their A/C in the hotel from noon to 5 PM. This is the heat of the day in South China. This is ridiculous thinking. On top of that, my room (along with some of my co-workers at the hotel) had a serious mold and mildew problem in the duct work of the A/C. In the middle of the night, I am often awakened by severe coughing fits due to the mold and mildew getting into my lungs. The hotel needs to hire a professional cleaning company to clean their A/C ducts. Someone will get seriously hurt, if this is not taken care of. I had to keep my A/C turned off and sleep with the window open to protect my lungs. Oh, pay no attention to all the water bugs and roaches that you will find around your room. They are only visiting like you....Ha Ha. My recommendation, find other accommodations. There are plenty of inexpensive, better hotels in this city.

I stayed there with my girlfriend . It was a pretty nice place to be. It's technically been taken over my Holiday Inn hotel kind of. The rooms were clean , the bed was sizeable . A walk mounted 25 inch TV and we had a smooth sleek couch to add to the room . They don't have a wifi but u can so with a cable Internet . Proximity to town is easy. Go across the word and up on the left, there is a bus stop and buses 9 or 19 goes . The station is the police academy school stop .
