Ai Yuan

For the price, the hotel was amazing, great pool and views from the terrace. Service was impeccable! 蒋秋玲 was so sweet and caring. She helped us with everything and made sure we had a smooth stay from beginning to end. From booking tours, to arranging e-bikes, to fixing my phone charger issue, and also arranging airport transfer she did it all for us. Please give her a big thank you from us!

The staff at the Hotel Ai Yuan were extremely friendly. Our room faced a community center sports arena where kids played basketball and volleyball until precisely at 10 pm the games (and noise stopped.) We liked looking out at the games when we were in our room before dinner. The location is prime because one exits the hotel, walks about 10 yards down an alley and is on West Street, the main and ancient shopping street of the town. It is also convenient for taking cabs back to the hotel, There is a main thoroughfare running behind the sports arena.

This hotel is located in an alley off the main drag, so it is away from the street noise. Rooms are adequately comfortable, with firm beds, small bathroom. It has an inner courtyard and offers free self-laundry. The breakfast is adequate but more modest than the other ones we experienced in other cities in China, probably because this hotel must be classified as a three-star hotel. There is a TV in the room but it only offers five channels and all of them are in Chinese only. Warning: get a room facing the inner courtyard as rooms facing the alley are noisy, as some people staying in them confirmed.
