Fubo Hotel

Even by China's 2 star evaluations this was a depressing, dirty and unattractive place. I was there to 'reposition' for one night but i would never recommend this to anyone. Yes it was by the river but the carpets inside and outside the rooms were filthy, the bathroom barely clean and the bed was like a plywood board. Breakfast was hosted in a room that was empty. No wonder. The food was dry and frankly i had some sanitary concerns. Not for the middle of the road traveler.

This hotel is located near the Li river if you fancy a swim there. I did it with some other chinese-men. Very OK but remember the strong current. Our room had a view over the Li river and was nice. The restaurant seem to have alot of foreign eaters. I never tried it. Maybe you can find equal good hotel near the river. I payed 300 YUAN for a night. I would not pay more.

The Fubo Hotel is located straight across the road from the Li River. We stayed in a river view room although the river was almost totally obscured by trees growing along the riverbank. The room and bathroom were both fine, quite spacious, clean and comfortable although the lighting was totally inadequate and reading at night was impossible for me. Breakfast was really poor. So, some pros and some cons with this hotel. We paid RMB400/night for a riverview room and I thought that was reasonable - not great but not too bad.
