New Century Hotel

The New Century Hotel was nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busy night time life of West Street in Yangshuo yet close enough to easily walk there everyday. The breakfasts were more catered for local Chinese but plenty to eat for Western tourists. Since we were here in December it was quite chilly but the room heating worked consistently. One of our rooms did have a sizable moth inside it upon arrival but we were able to get it out easily.

Facade of building is old but rooms are nice and clean. Walking distance to West Street. Breakfast is oriental and simple. Front office is helpful. Get tips and arrangement from them. Massage center inside hotel, is a no go... Run down.

My wife and I stayed in the " New Century Hotel " hotel in Yangshuo for 2 nights. Location: The hotel is located in 5-10 walking distance from the main pedestrian street Room: The room was a bit old but was equipped with all the required/expected amenities. The room was clean and being taken care every day. The water was always hot and air-condition worked well. Service: The staff provided us with good service in English (not all delegates new English). The in-house massage shop wasn't the best one can have. Food: The reach breakfast had mainly variety of chines options with very few & western options which we found challenging. Wi-Fi: Good Wi-Fi reception but connection to site outside China was an issue even with VPN.
