Rosewood Hotel

We had a really nice evening in the rosewood restaurant of the hotel with a delicious three course meal, some excellent cocktails and friendly staff. They also offer german and italian food in there other retaurants.

The room floors and walls are made from woods. Look so natural. The staffs are very kind and some of them can speak English, so I didn’t have to worry if I forgot some Chinese words. It is also near to the Yangshuo city, so I can just take a walk if I want to go there.

Overall: The staffs are friendly and we enjoyed the good view from our room balcony at the 5degree Celsius cold weather during our visit. Pros: 1. We love the room with pinewood finishing. Though it is called Rosewood hotel, we believe the wood used in room is pinewood. Very warm and traditional chinese feel. A good view of the shops back with mountain. 2. One thing we like the restroom comes with bathtub and standing shower. It is kinda special the standing shower comes with a wood stool for you to sit and shower. 3. Centralized location within West street. Convenient access with eateries around. Da Shi Fu, the famous restaurant chain in Yangshuo, is just right opposite. Cons: 1. The wifi is not working very well during our visit. It was not a big concern for us as we had the dongle wifi where we can still access whatsapp n google n facebook. 2. Cars cannot drive into West Street thus you need to drag your luggage about 5 minutes walk to the hotel. 3. They do not provide free mineral water bottles thus you need to get yourself from nearby store.
