Xin Fu An

This hotel is in the middle of the tourist area. It. Is clean enough but not immaculate as so many hotels are in China. Easy to reach bank, bakery, good clothes shops and the West Street pedestrianised shopping and entertainment area.

we had heard about Yangshuo and wondered what this hotel would be like, but it was fine. The staff very friendly and helpful, and the rooms gave us no problem at all. It is right on the main road, which was very noisy until around 11pm, but is less than 5 minutes to the street market area with all the variety of food and bars. Really busy down there and a great atmosphere, with a wide range of restaurants. Would certainly stay here again.

Beds were ok but the bathroom light is very dim and difficult to apply make up or have a shave. Staff were friendly but limited English. Close to West Street and all the night time excitement but the worst part about the hotel is that it is on the Main Street so there is traffic noise all day and night and the shops in Yangshuo play loud thumping music day and night. Our air conditioner kept going off after a few minutes so the evenings were very hot because you had to close the windows to try to limit the noise. Go to Lucy’s if you want a western breakfast.
