Nanning Wanxing Hotel Minzhu Branch

As the previous reviewer stated, the airconditioning in so weak it is almost non-existent. So, here in June it is like a sauna in the room. Stayed here at the recommendation of a friend. I doubt she has ever stayed here herself, it is just close to her home. Beds are as soft as the floor. TVs do not have the same channels in the bedroom as in the sitting area. Internet kept dropping the signal. Furniture looks old, worn out and dirty...and this was supposed to be own of the better suites. Poor lighting. The rate was reasonable, but after the first night I could not wait to get out. I will not return again and would definitely not recommend it to anyone.

FOR: Very clean, good food, friendly staff, rates OK, very good deal if staying for a week or more (free meals, photo development, travel to airport, etc. AGAINST: lifts break down, A/C very weak in hot weather, do not accept Americas Express travellers cheques,(visa OK)
