Nanning Yongjiang Hotel

We stayed at Yong Jiang Hotel a little over 2 weeks for my wife to visit relatives & friends. The hotel seems to have a lot of business and meeting groups, not many tourists except from China. Our room was a Business Executive room, excellent size with king bed, 2 sofas, TV, 2 showers, fridge, 4 waters per day. Housekeeping was excellent. My wife speaks chinese, otherwise it would be very difficult for a foreigner to stay here and communicate with the staff. Our room had a good view of the Yong Jiang river and the many bikes crossing the bridge each day. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices, only negative would be that it was pretty much the same each day. Also, with many groups there, it was very crowded between 7:30 - 9AM, avoid those times. We were there in April and it was 90 degrees and the pool was closed, very disappointing. The location of the hotel is next to a busy street so not much in the way of restaurants unless you want noodles all the time. The hotel restaurant is expensive. For these reasons, only 3 stars, probably good for local residents who speak the language.

good size rooms and comfy beds. Great location just meters from food street (Zhongshan Lu).Very reasonable room rates with english spoken. nearby is parksons department store and Wanda plaza for all shopping needs

We booked our room through Trip. It is a good location. The Pedestrian Food Street is close by for fun dinners and the river and bridges over the road are worth a walk-especially at night. We had a no window room which was great for sleeping in. The breakfast buffet is huge, and it didn't cost much extra for us.
