The advertised pictures make this apartment style hotel look good, however don't be fooled.... The hotel is surrounded by other apartment buildings and really does not give you a feeling of being close to the beach even though it's about a 10 minute walk.
The building itself is old and very dirty and the elevators feel like they are going to break at any moment. For the price I expected something half decent, but this place was a record low for me.
The sheets on the bed were dirty and when we asked to have them changed the staff told us on several occasions that we had to wait 3 days before we could have them replaced with new ones. The bathroom stunk of something rancid and was obviously not being maintained by the property management. I really should have taken pictures.
We eventually moved to a hotel in Dadonghai which was double the price, but it ended up saving our trip and allowing us to finally wind down from our terrible experience at this hotel.
