Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort

The hotel is gorgeous! A huge area with three large lawns in front of the beach where wedding ceremonies are held. Wonderful beach, better than neighbouring Mariott and Sheraton. Lots of sunbeds, umbrellas, lots of shade under the trees, giving out and throwing in towels on the beach. The towels are yellow, soft, cozy, unwashed. The sea was warm and clean, but the waves, sometimes you can jump on the waves, but often you can't enter the sea, the waves are knocked down. Helped out a large swimming pool, albeit 1.2 m deep, but worked until 10 p.m., we and other adults swam the county lane with great pleasure before and after dinner. We took half board, breakfasts were good, especially liked the fried Chinese dumplings, not much cheese, quite simple pastries. But dinner was in a restaurant by the sea with a beautiful view and an incredible selection of meat (lamb yum-yum barbecues) and seafood, both raw, which could be typed and given to boil or fry, and ready and peeled. We chose peeled, adding vegetables and seasonings to taste. Plus wine and beer without restrictions. Now for the plates. We arrived at night and were at the hotel at 4 a.m., check-in at 3 p.m., so we had to pay extra for the earlier check-in for an entire day - just under 1,000 yuan. The temporary room was large, with a shower on the balcony, a sofa and armchairs, a bath and shower and a toilet behind a glass fence. Then we were moved into a booked room on the 6th floor overlooking the sea, it was smaller, without an unnecessary bathtub and a glass fence around the toilet. The bed is huge, 2 soft pillows each, the bed is snow white, changed frequently, clean the room perfectly. The air conditioning is quiet and even works without a key, so getting back to your room is a buzz. There's nothing to pick on, though the heavy bathroom compartment door opens like a bank vault, and the light glass door to the balcony flies and can bite your fingers off. The blackout curtains completely darken the room, at night it's absolutely dark. Now for the weather. We knew May wasn't a good season, we were ready for clouds and rain. The rains were rare, the clouds didn't bother, sunbathed under clouds-tree-umbrella and with cream well. And on the last day it was real sunshine, and it was a challenge, very sultry outside and in the room, having to close the curtains dry to give the air conditioning a chance. So the clouds turned out to be just grace. Another plus of the hotel - every day until 6 p.m. two or three Russian-speaking guides are on duty, book a taxi, solve all issues. The only downside is that we booked a tour of Romantic Park with a show with guides, it turned out to be unreasonably expensive, uncomfortable, long and uninteresting, with a boring and meagre early dinner at 5 p.m. in a small and uninteresting restaurant in a tiny room (especially compared to the missing paid dinner at the hotel). The show is 1 hour long and can't be called exciting unless you've never been to a circus. The result- the hotel is chic, the food is wonderful, the sea is clear, the weather is our friend and gives opportunities for independent trips to the mountain and Joy City! We'll definitely be back!

Very disappointed with the operation of this hotel. Pre-booked and fully paid for the Sea view family suite from 21.03.26 to 29.03.26, but 2 days before arrival it was reported that overbooking took place at the hotel. I think Level 5* hotels should not sell rooms more than they are, should live up to the level and value their reputation. I do not recommend choosing this hotel, as the uncleanliness of the hotel will leave a negative imprint on the rest in general.

The hotel is great, out of the cons- the lack of incendiary music in the pool area, probably because it's for too family, a lot of kids, I kind of didn't take that into account when choosing, in the evenings it's boring, out of the pros- chic territory, chic beach, sea warmest, clean, deckchairs always enough, especially after 1:00 p.m., cleaning daily, in the rooms clean and fresh
