Ximei Business Hotel

Nice and cozy hotel, from lobby to room. Clean and organised. Pricey but just right. The food is ok during breakfast. The building have lots of other business offices and one of them is the famous Alibaba.com. This hotel is a must to stay if you are making business since this is an industrial area.

There seem to be 2 XI MEI Business Hotel threads belonging in Shijiazhuang city. My review applies to this one at 6 Jianshe South Road. Stayed in Ximei in Shijiazhuang in mid March. This is a typical Chinese business hotel. That does not take away anything from the hotel which is actually quite nice. The rooms are quite big and rather fully equipped with a well stocked mini bar, microwave, refrigerator, toiletries, etc of the free and on paid basis types. The hotel itself is in the center of the business district about 5-6 kilometers from the railway station. The bus from the airport dropped us at a walkable distance. Used Google Maps to reached the Hotel as it was around 10:30 pm and not much help available from the locals since hotel names in China could be very different sounding in English than their Chinese equivalents. Suggest print out the hotel name and directions in local language to navigate better and faster. It appears that the hotel has 2 blocks, one of which could be several floors of service apartments. A 7/11 on the road opposite the hotel is quite well stocked. Breakfast was typically a Chinese affair with some western components but passably good and a wide variety of choices. Overall an average stay for one night. Shifted out to Holiday Inn the next day. Not sure if I will stay here again but the hotel is reasonably luxurious.

Great hotel, fantastic location, just beside the shopping center, Bigou Mall.. Very clean and confy.
