Kaifeng Huangheying Hotel

Spend the night at this hotel (it really is, has over 100 rooms) and had a good night sleep but ... I could only pay cash or union pay, no AliPay, no master, no AMEX. Also, only smoking rooms. But I have to be honest, the bed is good, the TV can be used by non Chinese, the shower is also good. The carpet in the rooms is extremely dirty though. Breakfast is what you should expect, all Chinese but not bad. They even had some toast and jam. Internet worked fine but only in the room. We paid about 360 RMB so that sounds like a good deal and the location of the hotel was very close to the plant we had to be the next day, but next time I stay in the JinJiang or something similar, closer to the KaiFeng North railway station. One more thing, there was no food in the hotel when we arrived around 9 PM and we had no driver so we could not get dinner, I would have dinner before I come here. To end on a positive note, the staff is really trying hard and are friendly, that compensates for the lack of English.
