Yaxiang Jinling Hotel

I did like the hotel, even realizing that the rooms are not perfect. The sizes of the rooms are very good. It looks friendly and it feels good, like a real hotel. Good bathroom facilities, good shower. Breakfast mainly for Chinese people but there is bread, toast, coffee and so on. Nothing wrong with it. From a maintenance point of view, yes it fails in details but that is often experienced in China. I have respect for the people that worked very hard to make my stay pleasant.

Stayed in this hotel for 1 night on a tour. Room size was ok, WiFi was ok but TV was too difficult to adjust and finally gave up. Breakfast area was very small and extremely crowded. All food were only Chinese with several kinds of buns and a few hot dishes. Drinks were terrible and even the soya bean milk was tasteless.

Stayed as a part of Ross Garden Tours Australia for the Peony Festival and as a tour we must have got the really rubbish rooms. Dodgy electrics - I had to change rooms, plumbing disaster for others of our group. Smoking, spitting party officials throughout the hotel, smell of smoke all through the floor. Probably quite novel in its day with the space hotel theme but well past its best, worn and grubby. I requested an in room safe and a tiny little lady carried it up and sat if on the floor...... - so possibly not that useful.
