Jinjiang Inn Changsha Helong Stadium

I would reccomend this hotel as a standard Chinese business hotel. Cheap and cheerful. The rooms were adequate and reasonably comfortable. Clean. Don't expect a fancy hotel and you won't be dissapointed, especially as it's so cheap. Bathroom is perfectly fine too. If you are happy to stay at a Chinese-standard hotel, you will be happy here. The breakfast was more than fine. Milk, Chinese buns, noodles and some dishes. It's a standard Chinese breakfast, nothing Western but nice enough. The only bad points were that we had a 'non-smoking room' and it still smelled and had ash trays. We bought an air freshner. Also, every night there were cards pushed under our door for prostitutes. This made us feel uncomfortable especially that the managment did not stop the pimps from placing the cards there.

My friends and I had the opportunity to travel to the bustling Changsha, and our hotel provided us with the opportunity to relax and rest from the busy nature of the city. Although the washroom in our room had a musty odor, the room itself is reasonably spacious. What became slightly annoying was coming back to our room and having several business cards inserted by the foot of our door advertising escort services. The breakfast provided in the morning is fairly filling and tasty with your pick of eggs, fried noodles, and other decent dishes to select from. About 5 minutes away from the hotel is a KFC where you can get wonderfully tasty custard tarts, and about 30 minutes away on foot you will find a ferris wheel in the city where people gather in a large open square. There was some construction occurring outside of the hotel that made it challenging to walk to, but once that subsides, the hotel offers good value.
