Genli International

The hotel room are average size, but are very much worn out, and cleanliness are below expectations. The breakfast cannot be worse. Location is good as it is within distance from national park and walking street. Sound proofing is bad, noise from the Main Street right in front of the hotel likely to affect your sleep.

The hotel itself is quite old with dark corridor. We went there in winter but the air conditioning of the room are very poor. The room is very cold, we cannot sleep well. The shower is not stable. Hot water sometimes could not be provided. Fortunately the bedroom is clean.

During our trip in china the travel agent booked this hotel. The problems started with the check in The Genli called itself an international hotel uhm no one at the front desk spook a word English ! Not even yes no Further they shouted to us, then we asked them to call the travel agent we provide the number after 4 calls they understood we had a reservation, and gave us the room key. At a first it looked nice and clear until we inspected the bathroom several long hairs every where. The room was also near a construction site so we decided to go to the front desk for another room, we had a phone number of a local guide so by her we managed to get another room. This room was better but had no wifi the other room did have wifi. But at this room we later noticed the door handle was broken down after complaining it was fixed. Later that day there was an huge urine smell in the bathroom. Breakfast was also a disaster, wet plates almost no food everything was not warm, no black coffee only half warm with milk. I do not demand a lot, but do you self a favour and go somewhere else
