Hohhot Meihua Hotel Wulanchabu Road

A very nice hotel. No English but the staff was very pleasant and the room was clean. Breakfast buffet was ok, nothing special. A good walk to the museum and the neighborhood was relatively quiet. Maybe just a bit far from city center but if you prefer quiet........this was a good choice.

This hotel has an impressive reception area with a tank of fish who were clearly interested in a foreigner. The room was nice and large the beds comfortable with good quality bedding and thick light blocking curtains. Furniture is a little tired but over all very clean and looked after. Unfortunately the breakfast left very little here to be desired, nothing to drink but hot milk, the food was so depleted, dry and limited in choice. We were starving so we ate what we could but under normal circumstances would have sought out something better from a local eatery. Very good nights sleep though so over all an average score for this establishment .
