Jinjiang Inn Nanjing Beijing Rd.(E)

I chose the Jinjiang Inn for its location and price, so wasn't expecting a great deal more than a place to sleep between binge-drinking sessions. To my surprise, Jinjiang Inn was remarkably pleasant. The room is nondescript but has all of the essentials - a decent shower, a comfortable bed, a TV, aircon, and a desk. Two bottles of water were provided each day as well as tooth brushes, soap, fresh towels, etc. The staff don't speak much English, but all I interacted with were happy to try their best to help a confused laowei out. The attached restaurant does pretty basic Chinese cafeteria fare at decent prices. I ate lunch their twice and have no complaints. Nothing amazing, but it fills a hole. I'd totally go back to Jinjiang Inn if I were visiting Nanjing again. A very nice find.

If you are looking for a cheap accomodation, with free wi-fi and a hot shower this is the place to go. Location is convenient too and staff is friendly even though I didnt meet anyone speaking English.

The hotel is a good hotel with clean rooms and wifi. But what stands out about this hotel is its location! It is close to all the important tourist places. Everything is ten minutes away. Also for those supper hungry types, the hotel is surrounded by very good eateries. There is a muslim noodle stall, Yunnan Fish Resturant and even a HK cafe with great drinks selection. The proximity to a supermarket also made it easy to buy all my essentials like water, snacks,etc
