Jinjiang Inn Nanjing Xinjiekou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital Chaotiangong West Street

I stayed here for two nights this month while on a work business trip. The hotel is located around a 20-25 min walk from Xinjiekou and around 10-15 mins walk from Sheraton and Jimmy's bar. It is in a residential area with not a lot of shopping around. The hotel is reasonable, the internet works well, the prices are good. It is fairly new therefore it is clean. it caters mainly to local visitors. I do not think they will be getting many foreign guests. The hotel is strictly cash or local credit cards and they do not have a any facilities for taking foreign credit cards. The staff do not speak English. The TV does not have western channels. The good about the hotel...service is good, staff are nice and rooms are basic but reasonable. It may only be 2 or 3 star but it is OK. The staff made sure the room was extra clean when I arrived. I was a foreigner so they wanted to make a good impression. The bad??? Not much really. It is fine. Would I stay here again? This is a tentative Yes. I prefer other hotels in the city such as Jinling or Crowne Plaza but this is fine for me for a short stay.
