Pleasant environment with the rooms distributed in blocks within a garden. The rooms are very comfortable and have details that speak of a very recent renovation. The only downside is that the breakfast, while varied, lacks some Western options.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a tour group. The hotel itself is quite nice. There is a piano bar in the lobby but it only sold one type of beer or soft drinks. Unusual not to have a better selection. The room was also nice but others on our tour had rooms that smelled like cigarettes. Our beds were rock hard, so were very uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying here unless you like sleeping on a rock.

Amazing 5 star hotel with beautiful gardens. The hotel staff are excellent and meet all your needs. The rooms are very spacious and very well appointed. The hotel is situated amongst several busy shopping and dining streets. It is in close proximity to Suzhou’s major tourist attractions.
