Suzhou Grand Garden hotel

Room 1222. Mixed feelings: the room is big, the fridge is empty. Smoking smell, ashtray and matches on the table. You have to take your shower in the bathtub, shower curtain. Lots of mold. Very nice gardens between the buildings. Dining room a bit shabby: stains in seat covers and the carpet, holes in the table cloth. Minimal Western choices at breakfast.

The hotel is decent with garden design. Pretty refreshing. Location is also Great, close to the lingering garden and mall (easy to buy food if needed). My only complaint is they turn off the air conditioning after certain hours. So there you go it was so hot after 3 am in the morning. The people that worked at the restaurant a bit rude.Food is really oily. The receptionist is pretty unhelpful for attending our needs (like checking in or out) if i may say but luckily we got tour guide that help us go through all the process.

Some 3km west of city center but instead very close to the fine Garden to Linger In and the fascinating West Garden Temple. The hotel consists of low houses around its own little garden. We especially liked the breakfast where you discovered new tastes.
