YIJIA KAIYUAN

Having read other reviews of this hotel before staying as part of a G adventures trip, I was quite apprehensive. Yes everything they said about getting call cards slipped under the door etc is true, yes it overlooks a dump/wasteland, but the bed was comfy, the bathroom all worked fine and it was in a location that was convenient. If you're just looking for a comfy enough bed for the night this is fine.

Stayed here for one night as part of g adventures tour and all I can say is one night was too much, it is horrible. There was hair all over the bathroom sink and the bathroom smelled like a public toilet. The room itself had mould and damp on the walls and the view overlooks a dump yard. It really is horrible. I didn't attempt the breakfast because the place is filthy so the kitchen is probably disgusting too. There is a bakery down the street that you can pick up some breakfast there.

I stayed as part of a g adventures tour and so this was pre booked. The hotel is barely functioning. No maintenance what so ever....the reception desk is cobbled together from three separate desks...the landing on our floor was in darkness as you stepped from the lift. No safe in the room...no wardrobe ...though it was a huge room. Bizarre place. Never again.
