Doubletree By Hilton Jiangsu-Taizhou

Clean and very functional hotel. Breakfast was reasonable but with limited “western” options. The room was ample with a good bed and a great shower. When checking in as a foreign visitor you must show your passport, visa and entry date stamp - all are copied

The hotel is grand and the rooms are huge with the toilet having a see through to room. The room has a study area, double room, the room service includes western food and tasty. The staff is courteous but do not speak English but they call a manager who does. The staff are polite and helpful.

They smoke in the bathrooms. Same garbage for three days. Mold in showers and steam room floor. And caught a guy spitting in the pool. COME ON FOLKS it’s the 21st century. They don’t give soap to annual members, only hotel guest. Not to mention the local indignant characters that visit the gym. All I want is a gym. Is this too much to ask?
