Jinjiang Inn Central Wuxi Train Station

It is a hotel that can accept foreigners in this area only. Yeah! Not so far from the train station but need to walk around 15 minutes from station. There is not much restaurant around here BUT it is QUIET. And some of the package in this hotel is including breakfast. Otherwise, the view around here is fantastic and beautiful. Old buildings and view. It is such a beautiful places for me. The receptionist has a good manner for foreigners and he is funny. Toilet or bathroom in room is good, no problem for that. And also their bed let me had a sweet dream. For me breakfast can be accept, like 6/10. Not bad, but if you wanna try other local food just go out and find.

I was very surprised at how bad my experience was at this hotel. I have stayed in many Jinjiang Hotels/Inns. The accommodations and the hotel were average. Nothing special to say. But, that is to be expected from this chain of hotels. They are usually good for a cheap night and a comfortable room. My problem was with the reservation and desk staff. I would recommend this hotel. I like the hotel chain. And, the hotel was everything JinJiang Hotels should be. So, I will not elaborate any further. I will just say that you need to make sure your reservations are correct.

I am very hearty traveler and I do not mind cheap hotels, but this one put me over the edge and I checked out after two nights. They did not speak any English at the front desk Here are some observations: -It was a bit like a dorm room...I wasn't even sure that the sheets were changed. Here is what set me back... -they did not take my credit cards (which were active in other places in the city) -the non-smoking room I got stunk of cigarette smoke. -I noticed a a place in the shower where tiles were missing. As I looked in the water, I noticed dozens of mosquito larva squiggling around. Since I couldn't speak Chinese to change rooms, I just hosed it out. BUT the next night, they showed up again! That's when I decided to get another hotel. Upside: Close to the south gate of the university and great air conditioning. Also, good access to street food late at night. Even with the good location and good price I will not stay there anymore.
