Milido

Very enjoyable stay. Everyone working here is very friendly and helpful. Front desk employees were very good. Very nice room. I found it very convenient to the downtown areas where I met friends on business.

I came here as a tour group.There were around 40 of us. It didn't look like a holiday inn for me. The lobby was large. The receptionist was nice. The rooms were clean and spacy. The toilet was good enough. The beds were comfortable. I have no complaint here. If you want a fairly good place to stay overnight, in economical price. This one is OK.

During our stay in Wuxi, the travel agency booked Milido Hotel for us to stay in. I never knew it was a Holiday Inn until I came on TripAdvisor and saw the title. Was it really a Holiday Inn once? I seriously doubt it. I had high expectations for the hotel as a wedding was held at the time and the previous hotel (the horrible Jihua Garden) was a bust. Check-in was quick as no one was there and we headed for the lift. I noticed that there were several outlets such as a barber and some sort of investments company next to the lift in a long corridor. I didn't visit them, though. The bright and beautiful lobby has been partially overshadowed by the more dull-looking room. The toilet was fair enough, thankfully. Beds were good, television was working, nothing really wrong in the hotel. English in the hotel was above expectations. I'd give it a thumbs up for that. The next day, we had breakfest. There was a flower arch at the entrance of the large dining hall. There was a fair variety of food, but I wasn't in the mood to eat for some reason. My mother brought me some food and my appetite came back. The hotel was not half bad, but not the best out there. I originally did not want to reccomend this hotel, but come to think of it, one would enjoy the budget price. Overall, a good experience, but could be better.
