The biggest issue was that the receptionists didn’t speak English, so for even the smallest matters, you had to visit them in person and communicate via a translation app. It was not possible to resolve issues over the phone from the room. The hotel’s location was not very convenient, requiring a 15-minute walk to reach an acceptable restaurant or a metro station. Breakfast was served in a large hall but lacked variety. The bathtub and shower were old and did not meet the expected quality standards. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. The pillows and mattress were of high quality.

We stayed at Ladison Plaza International Hotel Zhejiang for one night as part of a tour with Dalahoo Travel Agency. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. • The hotel’s location is far from the main attractions of Hangzhou, making it inconvenient for sightseeing. • Cleanliness was not up to standard, and the room was not properly maintained. • The curtains in our room were torn, and the air conditioning system did not work properly. • Our room was on the 6th floor, and we could hear a lot of street noise, which made it difficult to sleep. • The rooms were also quite small, making the stay less comfortable. Overall, this hotel needs better maintenance and improvements in cleanliness and facilities. I would not recommend it for travelers looking for a comfortable stay in Hangzhou.

No Air Conditioning (A/C) in room 1117. There were 41º C degrees in Hangzhou those days. The A/C in our room was not working. After returning from a walk, completely sweat, and taking a shower, there was no way to cool the room. The next day after asking in reception through our guide (it is quite difficult to be understood in english), we were told that the temperature was limited in the whole premises to 25º C. That was not true: other firends in the our group could set the temperature in their rooms to 24º or even 23º C. It should be impossible to work for all employees at 25ºC! No new room, no repair or additional fan was neither provided. The last day, after check-out, I asked for a claim form or a claim book. Such thing was unknown to the girl at reception. For sure, always with a smile!
