This hotel is next to the International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Besides its convenient location, there were no other reasons that would make me come back to stay here.
Its grand lobby was beautiful but misleading. As the guest rooms and corridors were sorely in need of an upgrade. The corridor leading to my room had stained and musty smelling carpet. The room had a lingering stench of cigarette smoke even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Furniture in the room was also old and dated. While I could accept the poor maintenance, I was appalled when I saw stains on the bedsheets and comforter.
My room window opened towards the Exhibition Centre so it was pretty noisy when a car exhibition was going on in the outdoor area of the Exhbition Centre.
