Fortunately, I can speak the tiniest bit of Chinese, cause they wanted to claim I didn't make a proper reservation on Agoda. What I think the problem was, they've never connected to the internet before. This place, albeit nice people, was super shady. The location was really good for a town that's not good at all. The only reason they have any points was because of their kindness (primarily because I could communicate with them) and their location. Otherwise I was a bit ticked at their inability to comprehend reservations.

For the price is just OK. Though I do have some complaints. First, the volume for the TV is ridiculously soft and it doesn't give the option to change it. Second, the AC is permanently on hot or cold for every room. My room was very hot and opening the window didn't help much either. And I know this is China but this hotel belongs to a French corporation and smoking in the lobby or the halls should not be allowed. Finally, neither the beds nor the pillow are comfty. The bed is hard as a board and the pillows have seen better days, they are as flat as paper sheets.

Location is nice, close to a mall and entertainments, easy access to major spots like Yushan National Park and Shang Like, take taxi within 10 mins. Check-in is smooth and fast with room key can only access to your floor. Room is clean, well equiped but the soundproof iss poor. Web TV not stable but it's fine with me. Hotel also provide free in-room broadband internet and free Wi-Fi at the lobby which is a nice touch. Overall is a nice stay experience.
