International Airport

I stay here often as part of my work programme, and have experienced the hotel during all four seasons. Temperature control can be tricky, particularly in the Summer. The rooms at the front can the full heat of the sun, and the air con is unable to reduce the room temperature to a comfortable level. Likewise in the Winter it can be tricky to get the room warmed up enough. As I write this, in April, it is fine. Location is perfect for the airport, you could walk to the terminal easily. The rooms are not too bad, slightly softer beds than usual in China. Some are a little musty from smoking. The restaurant produces pretty good food, and the menu has some limited English text to help you choose. The closest I have found to a Western meal is the Beef with French Fries. This consists of around eight squares of pretty good beef served with French fries and spicy sauce. They stop cooking at 2200. There is a 24 hour KFC about 500m along the road if you arrive too late to get fed here. Desperate times call for desperate measures... Wifi speed is slow to average, depending on time of day, but it is free and throughout the hotel. The staff are friendly enough, with the male manager particularly helpful.

I am glad that I only stayed one night. The only good thing about this hotel is its close proximity to the airport and the kindness of the reception staff.The room is not so clean as the bathroom.... we didn't take the breakfast so I cannot say nothing about this. No wifi in the room!!

Though the rooms were small, I actually didn't mind this hotel. For a foreigner, compared to other hotels in other cities with similar positions: - the bed wasn't rock hard. - the shower actually had a tub WITH hot water on demand - there was no mold in the shower - said shower didn't leak water all over the bathroom and main room - carpet was clean - room didn't smell like cigarette smoke - breakfast spread was fairly good and diverse. About the only two things that could be better would be that the pillows are the crazy half buckwheat pillows which are not very comfortable and then there was limited power outlets in the room.
