The entrance is hidden among small shops and difficult to find if one does not read Chinese. Once inside, it was an adequate place. The bathroom was much like some we have experienced in Scandinavia where the shower is a part of the bathroom proper and not a separate area. Luckly the hotel supplied rubber sandels to wear. But it was clean.
Area around hotel not as clean as in some other cities. On the other hand, there were a lot of sidewalk vendors around the corner with interesting wares and a wonderful permanent street market. We even found a mailbox, but no place to buy stamps.
This hotel made walking into the shopping area convenient - 15 minutes or so - with a marvelous bakery about two blocks away from the front door.
