HOLIDAY INN YINCHUAN INT'L TRA

Good hotel, which is meeting the expected standards of a Holiday Inn. Large rooms, comfortable beds, air conditioning was working well. Breakfast above average with good coffee and decent range of western selection. Good value

The staff here is probably the best trained staff in the international chains I have stayed in China. At the check-in, Cora knew all the perks as a Platinum member I should enjoy. Without me reminding her, she crossed all the t's and dotted all the i's, including an upgrade, which I was most grateful. The Concierge guy, Johnson, was good looking, smart, and professional. He should be in a 5-star Ritz-Carlton or something. They all went out of way to greet you and serve! I was impressed. The location was convenient, as it is right on the main street of old town. The only regret was the steam room didn't work, and the sauna was just barely hot.

Beautiful city, enjoyable experience. And the Holiday Inn was a good stopping place for adventures in the city. Clean, comfortable, central. There was nothing special about the hotel experience, but nothing unpleasant or problematic either.
