Bell Tower

Great average hotel, changed rooms because of very small bed and cigarette smell. Tried very hard to show us other options. Finally at paid for a room with a bigger bed and views of the Bell tower. Lots of street noise though.

Our room looked out onto the magnificent Bell Tower. This hotel is centrally located next to the colorful and bustling Muslim quarter, the metro. shops and restaurants. Rooms are dated but spacious and meticulously clean. The air conditioning system did not work in the 2 nights we were there which made for uncomfortable sleep. The hotel did however provide us with a portable fan.

Bell Tower Hotel Xian 西安钟楼饭店 - The hotel has an excellent location right next to the iconic Bell Tower Pagoda, close to the city walls and underground shopping area. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable, and the views from the upper floors are fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful. Despite the central location it was pleasantly quiet. A perfect choice for a comfortable stay in the city center. The bed was comfortable, the room well equipped. Breakfast was a mix of continental and Chinese – I especially enjoyed the hot food. Very friendly staff.
