Mingdu International Hotel

Stayed at this hotel as part of a 5 day tour of China which was part of a package with cruise 1st on the 1st of October ( 1-7 of October is a national holiday every were is packed out) Anyhow the positives for this hotel are it's in a good area it's very presentable,room clean .negatives shower dirty, staff in reception,restaurant not very helpful,western food at breakfast wasn't good ,no air con in rooms absolutely red hot ,but funny how reception,hallways were very cool . Threatened to sleep in reception so they got us a fan would not recommend to stop at this hotel

I agree with Gregg A’s review. This hotel is really bad. The smell of cigarette smoke is everywhere and the carpets are disgusting. We brought our air purifiers, but the room was so dusty and stuffy that we hardly slept at all. They advertise an entertainment room on floor 4, but when we got off on the 4th floor, it was pitch black. I would not advise staying here.

None speaks English. Nonsmoking room yet they give you matches and an ash tray. Go figure the room smelled like smoke. They say they have a western restaurant but they serve no western food. Bathroom was dirty. A/c in the room didn't work, just circulated hot air.
