Tangdi Boutique Hotel

Booked this hotel from Agoda after reading the reviews and it was a good choice. It was difficult to reach the hotel because it is next to mall without any proper park way. The room I got had no windows because that was the only room available. There was only one girl at the reception who could understand and speak little bit of english. Allowed late check out till 3pm. Breakfast was very traditional chinese so I had to rely on bread n butter.

The hotel is great. The rooms are nice, It is located beside the ancient Buddest temple- Wild Goose Pagoda in front and is part of a shopping mall..interesting combo but it works Lots of activity at night and quite interesting..However before you book understand that the hotel is actually part of the mall, and not on the street. There is no doorman to help you get a taxi which you will need. Also the hotel staff does not speak any other language than chinese. Ok but difficult when you want to make arrangments to go to the airport etc. We ended up using the Westin concierge across the street from the Mall to get taxis, info on tours to any heritage sites. So great if you can speak mandarin, but very difficult otherwise.
