Tooyo

This hotel is located near the action! Food joints are plentiful just round the corner, and its easy to get anywhere on the Metro, as there is a station nearby. Room is decent, reasonably large size, adequate amenities. Price is low-mid for China hotels, and with a location like this, no complaints at all.

This is a clean, comfortable hotel situated midway between the north and south gates of the city wall and the Bell Tower, Drum Tower and muslim quarter are all within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and all amenities are provided including wi fi. Staff are helpful but with limited English. Only breakfast was available during our stay but offered a reasonable selection of dishes and there are many nearby eateries to try for other meals. There is a t.v. in the room but no channels in English, so bring a good book! If visiting in November to March pack some moisturizer as your skin gets very dry. Altogether an enjoyable stay and great value for money.

Location is good and bad. Good that it's seconds away from Beijia metro station exit B. Bad it's by a super busy junction with loud traffic. Can walk to lot of attractions easily. Bell tower, Muslim street, railway station. Room big and good bed. Terrible pillows. Simply terrible pillows. Cleaning ok but not great. Good amenities. Fast wifi. Good shower. Staff friendly. Neighbours are awful. As in all hotels in China. The name is Tooyo not Tuyue. Lots of convenience stores near. Okay airport directions. Get airport bus to Longhai hotel (staff will know) bay 41 cost 27 RMB. Then either get taxi to hotel (15RMB) or bus or use map app and walk. Do not get taxi from airport will cost around 150 RMB. All in all its an ok stay. Sleep ruined by bad pillow loud traffic and loud neighbours. Only 1 of those is the hotel fault. Cost me 200 RMB a night
