Jinjiang Inn Central Jinan Daming Lake

This place is pretty much what you would expect from a Jinjiang Hotel (which is a typical budget hotel chain in China). I personally prefer Jinjiang Hotel over the other budget chains such as 7 days and Home Inn and the place is pretty decent for the price. Close to the lake, 10 kuai right to downtown by taxi, lots of food nearby. Overall, nothing spectacular, but a pretty solid budget stay. No complaints whatsoever.

This a no-frill hotel that is located within walking distance to most of the tourist spot like Daming Lake, Wulong Park, Baotu spring. It is also near to shopping area and Furong Street. The lunch menu is quite good and reasonable price. Taste good too. The rooms are simple but clean,

This is a average budget hotel, with a restaurant, and reasonable meals for lunch and dinner, the breakfast was about half Chinese and half western, with toast and jam, fried eggs (self cooked) and a sort of bacon looking processed meat product, coffee and orange juice, both served hot, you could put your near boiling OJ in the fridge if so desired. The room was clean, and well presented, the bathroom was larger than what most budget hotels have, the bed was comfortable, and the noise level was acceptable. The only problem we had if both of us left the room at the same time, the electronic door card wouldn't work on our return, and needed to be reprogramed at reception.
