Ariva Qingdao Hotel And Serviced Apart

The hotel room I was staying in was big but clearly below strandard: the bathroom was dark, dirty and smelling of mildew. I had to take a cold shower because the hot water was smelling funny.The curtains were sticky and it was almost impossible to see through the windows. Not to mention the lack of cleanliness of the breakfast place and the lack of lounge/sitting area.

Stayed in Ariva Qingdao for two nights after staying in Ariva Beijing West for a week. This hotel is not to the same standard as Beijing West Ariva. Everywhere was very dirty, free wifi which was promised on the website and in the room was only provided in the lobby. This website is supposed to be part of the Ariva group but it's not on their website so I guess they are using the brand without maintaining appropriate standards. Overall, dirty and disappointing.

During my stay in Qingdao for 10 days, I had stayed in 3 hotels. Comparatively, this hotel is just an apartment. Pictures are very deceiving. The quality of stay is below average. Place is not well maintained. Bed and pillow are not comfortable. It is very dirty and dusty especially the carpets and the fabric furnitures. Towels are not pure white and look dirty. For the price paid, this is not value for money at all. I would definitely NOT come back.
