Golden Bay Hotel

The hotel is located on the beach. I was upgraded to a suite. The suite was very clean and very spacious. Decoration a little outdated but for a business trip it was very good. Breakfast buffet, very Asian.

We stayed at this hotel from August 7 to August 16. The hotel is declared as 5 ⭐️, but you must immediately understand that these are Chinese stars. The staff is very attentive, many speak English, and are always ready to help. We lived on the 5th floor overlooking the sea. Cleaning every day, linen change every three days, free water every day. Upon arrival, welcome fruit, soda and yogurt. Replenish cosmetics in the bathroom every day. The children's toothbrush and children's slippers were a pleasant surprise. The fact that there was a window between the bathroom and the room was a little confusing, but the staff said it was romantic 😂. During this period, we were the only Europeans in the hotel. Breakfast is quite normal, there were some minor problems with coffee and cocoa machines, but the staff immediately fixed them. The spa salon was not working and was closed for renovation. The room for children's games, karaoke and card games is a little tired and needs renovation. Every evening there is a seafood barbecue on the terrace. Regarding the beach, the question is complicated: the hotel does not have its own beach, you can swim on the international beach, but in order to get to the umbrellas with sun loungers (paid, you have to bargain on the price), you need to go through vacationers with tents and marquees. The beach is not cleaned very well. Before the storm, the water was clean, but after the entire shore was littered with algae and debris, and no one was in a hurry to clean it up. On the shore, the neighboring hotel has a wonderful swimming pool with sun loungers and tables. The pool is shallow and very comfortable for children. The pool has constant water circulation and is very clean. Admission is free, you just need to order food and drinks at the bar for 40 yuan per person. To summarize, of course the hotel is expensive, but it is worth the money compared to the beach hotels that are located in the area.

Stayed here for 4 nights and everything was satisfactory. View from the hotel room was well worth the money paid. Highly recommended with no complaints. Temperature and weather was great. I was impressed when chambermaid after cleaning my room, provided me with a mouse pad when I left my laptop and mouse on the table.
