Laizhou Baidu International Hotel

We stayed in this hotel for few weeks when we were in China for a project. This is located in a small town and this is the best international hotel that you can find there. Food is nice and their revolving restaurant is great where they serve breakfast (wide varieties). Negative point is we found it very difficult to communicate with the staff (even with the reception). You don't have many things to do in that city but shopping.

So, one would expect this to be a fine hotel with all things working improper order. One would be mostly right. For starters, and an issue that won't go away, the door lock chooses to work sometimes. By sometime in referring to when I'm outside trying to get in. Though not a safety issue, what a pain to stand out there in the hall like an idiot waving this key card back and forth. Frustrating to say the least. Otherwise the hotel seems fine. But, if I turn my shower on full blast, the shower head is cracked or something and sprays a substantial mount of water on the ceiling. Restaurants are fine, room is clean enough, and once I found the secret switch on the tv it seems to work too. Overall less than I would expect, but I guess it would so in a pinch.

This Hotel was so dirty, the rugs in the bedroom have never been clean. Bathroom was so small and also moldy. Poor chooses for food. I had to put my suitcase on top of my bed just there was stuff falling over, the wont fall on the carpet.
