Golden River-View

The hotel was picked for us as part of a tour package. We were very pleased, the carpet was new, as was the entry way granite flooring. Room was clean, bed was very soft and comfortable, breakfast was excellent, two different times we went to front desk they spoke English...no complaints. Blue Frog hamburger place 2 min walk away has excellent more traditional food for any westerners missing a good old hamburger.

Golden River View hotel is perfect if you only stay one night at the end of our 12 days guided tour from Jet Tour and if you get a Chinese guide to check in and out for you. Don't ask anything special as you won't get it at all like a spoon for your cup of coffee in the morning breakfast lounge. Nobody speaks English even not a word so nobody can help in case of need. The room is well enough equiped and comfortable as well with necessary amenities considering the very affordable rate of the place.

This hotel was a good place to stay, quite well located. Staff don’t speak a lot of English but that’s to be expected. Maybe a little over priced for what it is but comfortable and clean enough. Reasonable shopping and food very close by.
