When we first arrived we were promptly assisted at reception. After not liking the allocated room because of its proximity to the lifts and noise levels, we were upgraded by Kate who efficiently and professionally allocated us to another room. The staff are friendly and efficient. It is an older hotel but well kept and elegantly designed. Great gym and spa area and restaurants for breakfast and dinner options. Pricing was also reasonable for Shanghai and its location .

Stayed here for 2 night on a tour. Location is good if you want to be near the Huangpu River but maybe a bit far if you want to do the tourist streets at night. Buffet Breakfast was good baked beans arent quite like Heinz but lots of options. The revolving restaurant at the top of the hotel was a real treat.

We stayed two nights in this hotel in arrival in China. The first room we had wasn't great. The bath area, shower curtain and bath mat were black an mouldy and the bathroom had a musty smell, also the air con didnt work. We had travelled for 20 hours so we just put up with it for the first night. The second night they changed our room and this next room was much better. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with good size shower rooms and a decent shower. However, it is dated and could do with a refurb. The breakfast was good with lots of choice and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
