Coinfamily Hotel

Nothing extraordinary about this budget hotel, as we stayed here only for a 6 hours night halt.The staff only speaks chinese. The rooms are very basic and have an eerie smell and feel. The sleep was not peaceful either, as there were some loud Chinese guys and girls on the street opposite the hotel, having the times of their lives throughout the night! We were relieved when left the hotel in the morning, so that says a lot about it!!

A budget hotel that located about 5 mins walk from exit 2 at Qibao metro station. Convenient location, have big mid-class shopping arcade just across the street where you can find Starbucks, KFC, restaurant, food court, bakery, foot bath, etc. It's near the tourist spot Qibao Old Street, not so much fun but worth taking some pictures at those traditional Chinese style huts and shops. The room itself is big but has stinky/smoke smell even though I have requested non-smoking room at prior booking. The interesting part was that the front desk said they didn't find any remarks on my booking (I'm sure I did click non smoking room through that popular hotel booking app!!) Anyways, they have changed the room (with less stinky though) for me the next day as it was a bit late at the first night check in. Please make sure you call and inform them your request prior to check in. Better speak in Putonghua/Mandarin to make sure they understand your request. Breakfast - don't expect too high. Just have some basic Chinese food like fry veggies, congee, fry noodles, fry rice, toast, Chinese bun. The only highlight was the hot milk quite delicious. I saw the cleaning lady in the morning, she is nice but honestly she didn't clean very thoroughly. Well, it's typical! They use broom to sweep the carpet, not vacuum machine, LOL! I rate the cleanliness 5 out of 10. At check out, the front desk helped to call taxi for me and it appeared in just 15 mins. They are helpful and quite impressive though their faces seemed unfriendly LOL. No complain for the rmb$30 taxi fare to HongQiao airport, took only 12 mins during non peak hour. No fridge in my room, I don't know the others. LOL Don't expect too much on a 3 stars hotel in China standard, just enjoy your trip :)

I have spend one night in the hotel during my transit from Shanghai to Wuxi. The airport is quite easy to find. People on the reception do not speak english but provided us with all necessary information. The room was big but dirty. You could find somebody's hair on the floor, spots from the cigarettes on the carpet etc. The bed was clean so it saved me from moving to the different hotel. Be aware that it is noisy at night. Breakfast was ok according to China standarts: eggs, rice, vegetables. Do not try to reach the airport or railway station by walk. The road is not very pleasant and it takes 1.5 hours.
