Motel 168 Tian Yao Qiao Road Inn

This motel is not recommended for travellers who don't speak or read Chinese. I don't speak Chinese so my only interaction with the staffs were during check-in and check-out. Room is reasonably clean. Bathroom and the towel are quite clean. One thing about the amenities, I stay there for 3 nights, but no addition/replacement of toilet paper for those 3 days. And you will not find facial tissue paper. Noise can travel to other rooms. Escort cards was distributed every night so definitely not motel for family !! Wifi is available though. This motel is approx. 400m walk to the Shanghai Stadium subway station so quite convenient for travellers who move around by subway.

Avoid this motel at all costs, the workers here are like zombies and will not do anything for you. We had trouble with the internet, getting our included breakfast tickets, getting extra room keys, getting our rooms tended to, and with loud rude guests in the rooms next to us. We stayed here for a total of 5 days while visiting the city and every night there was an escort card slipped under you door. The whole thing is that you can not access the hotel room floors without a key card! Which means either their employees are doing this or they fully condone escorts coming into the hotel. The hall ways are dark, there are no lights and when you finally turn on the lights, whole place is dirty. It's absolutely the worst place i've ever stayed at in my life. Stay here if you want to stay in hell.
