Riverfront Business

It depends if you are with family or on business, I can see it is ok for work if your business is in the Zhangjiang area (but a bit far from downtown if you need to do meetings in the city), it is really more like a local service apt for the local area not a city-based location. Its not good for families with young children as the bathroom is quite dangerous with a deep sunken shower that children (and adults!) can easily fall into if not supervised. Two big double beds, very big lounge and balcony (which can't really be used, just empty space), but bedrooms small with no room to open suitcase. You can tell it has been converted from an office as it doesn't seem originally designed as a hotel. One downside is the toilet doors don't close fully so there is no privacy if you are using the toilet, again depends if you are alone or with others as to how much this matters to you! Also one downside is it is a 20 minute walk to subway station. I can imagine young people working together sharing a room here to work on a project.

Stayed here for a couple of months during a business trip. The receptionists are very friendly and you can count on them for things that you need. I stayed most of my time in a 1-br apartment but I also got the chance to stay in a 2-br apartment for a few days as my original room wasn’t ready yet. It’s spacious and can fit more than two persons. I like how the bedroom and shower room are elevated. My room is cleaned every Friday morning. I just realized I wasn’t able to check out their bbq deck, game and study area. They have a gym which most of the time I have only for myself. It’s equipped with treadmills, bike, weights and a few more. Beside it is a studio where you can do ballet or yoga. During my stay, I’ve rented some kitchen utensils (sponge, cutting board, rice cooker and a flipper) for 100 CNY. There’s a Family Mart, Easy and restaurants downstairs. There’s also the newly opened Kaiba Bar perfectly situated downstairs. There’s a tram near Base which can take you to the nearest metro station which is Guanglan Lu.

Stayed in this hotel for 1 month..our stay here was relaxing.The hotel should be proud that every staffs we met during our stay were efficient,professional and friendly. Especially the staff name Louis, had informed us of so many things during our stay here. Thank you Louis for your humour ,efficiency and lovely manner on reception. Room could have been cleaner,me and my roommate like spotless. Besides, Base Hotel is just located at second last tram station and is walking distance to hotel. Base Hotel also provides fridge, hair dryer ,microwave but if there could be a supply of kitchen utensils will be better. Do not miss to rooftop during night time,nice view there.
