Shanghai Soho Bund International Youth Hostel

This hostel is the worse hostel that I been and I was traveling for 4 months around asia. Room are super dirty. My room was very close to the share toilet and at night u can felt such u been sleeping in the toilet because is super smelling. The staff don't have English skills. It's hard try to get information. Despite, the hostel have a nice location. However I don't recommend it at all...

We stayed here for 8 nights and in our 3months of traveling Asia this is probably the worst place stayed. The beds are very very hard- worse than a sleeper train, the wifi is so slow in the rooms - sometimes passable in the common areas but generally no good The shower pressure is very sad, at one point the pressure was so slow it literally stopped working for a minute or two. There a hair dryer available in the hallway but it seems to only be exclusively used after 11pm at night which makes for a hard time getting to sleep. There's a lot of noise in the halls too, people yelling etc We were the only westerners there and most guests seem to keep to themselves so not much atmosphere. The staff were nice but didn't speak much English and not much help was offered in terms of tourist activities etc Also you can only Pay in cash That all being said- the location is pretty good so if you can overlook the above its not so bad

Pleaseeeeeee Renovation And please train your housekipping she dont know how to clean 40€ per night NO breakfasts Bed so strong we cant sleep But friendly staff give us 3 pilows to put on the bef so feel better All the night chinese ladys of the dormitory need to dry hair !!! Hair dryer its front of the rooms My god please tell to your guests after 11 pm no hair dry Staffs so sweet and helpful Location perfect 10000000 % Bund only 5 minutes to walk Sumbway 10 minutes Perfect for visit
