The overall quality is acceptable. My room is comfortable but it smells of cigarette at first. I didn’t know if there is non-smoking floor or not and I forgot to ask. The decorations at the reception and entrance are a bit old. Comparing the price I paid and the room, it is alright. However, this teach me to make sure before reserve the hotel in China that I need to look for non-smoking.
I was unlucky to meet with a young lady at the reception. I showed her my telephone with check-in voucher but she answered me in Chinese with stoned-face “What?” She couldn’t speak English at all. She doesn’t what is “name, surname” and asked me if “Superior room is my name?” Luckily that “Google Translator” saved my life.
The next day, I woke up late then I told the janitor that there is no need to make the room. When I left around midday, I dropped by the reception and told them in Chinese that “no need to clean but please leave me drinking water inside my room.” When I arrived at night, no drinking water (I wasn’t sure then I bought some with me).
