Renaissance Zhongshan Park

We arrived late from the flight, and at reception, they could not find the reservation and were very unpleasant, arguing with our guide. The room was very small, filled with super old furniture; we had no space even to open our suitcases. The cleanliness was terrible; there was a super old carpet, and the worst part was that 4 towels were torn, and the rest were in a deplorable state. Moreover, the hotel is very far from the Bund or any tourist area, in a 60-story building with a huge, very noisy, and impersonal shopping center. We decided to change hotels since our stay in Shanghai was for a week, and we did not feel comfortable. I do not recommend it.

Please shot me before staying here again. Lacks any personality, rooms are tired. service is confused and missing basic such as a bar to have a drink after a busy day. Never again

Friendly member of staff, quick response rate and actions, hotel grounds and facilities convenient are decent, and as it would be expected for a Shanghai hotel. Made the most out of the stay, and easy to connect between shopping mall to lobby and room. Breakfast, afternoon tea and happy hour, all good.
