Shaanxi Business Hotel

One of the worst experiences I ever had in Shanghai. Should shut down this hotel Pluses: - location is good; Minuses: - ac didn’t work. Was super hot inside the room and no oxygen. The whole hotel was same. Could not breathe inside room. Asked few times to find solution - it was never found. Only was advised to cancel reservation …. - rude service; - Was given room without window. Which was not mentioned on reservation and refused to change . - Breakfast is so poor… - Rooms are old and smelly. Would never stay, would not recommend to stay. Avoid this hotel at any cost.

Good clean hotel with lovely views. Does the job. Staff have very limited english which can be difficult. Allot of taxi drivers did not know where the hotel was either which was complicated. The hitel was value for money.

I stayed here at the beginning of August and it was a very good choice. The location was great a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station. It was in a nice area with some good local and foreign bars/restaurants. The room was really big and the bed was very comfortable. The A/C in my room could have been a little colder but it was fine as it was. Having a microwave and mini frig was great too, since a typhoon came through 2 days into my stay...haha the bathroom was nice and the shower/tub combo was large enough for me to actually take a long bath one day. Overall I had a really good time staying here and would again if I visit Shanghai again.
