Newly renovated hotel. Spacious room, good cleanliness, smart amenities. Rich breakfast, but no many options for europeans. No coffee espresso even at the lobby bar. The staff is friendly but no-one speaks english. They gave us different room than I have been booked. They said that gave us upgrade but the new room was smaller than I have been booked. The hotel is located 200 m from the Shanghai train station. Very convenient to go everywhere in the city.

Hotel review strongly flattered, positive, breakfast. A hotel of this class should have English speaking staff. Communicating via smartphone is not appropriate. Staff partly unfriendly or unmotivated. Cleanliness adequate if it is disregarded that used glasses or cups have not been replaced or cleaned. Hotels in the poorer category performed significantly better.

What a great find in this city!! Fantastic location and lots of aesthetic bonuses. Only sour point: I walked in and got in line ... a Chinese woman came after me but stepped in front and they took her first- despite my stating that I was there first. There was a note upon arrival about construction next door, but it says it will stop for the evening.
