Yes, it is just across the street to Fudan. There's the good news. The rest is mixed. The place feels like a "fancy" hotel from the 1990s. Comfortable bed, good linens, and very big rooms, but also a dated, tired feel, despite some refurbishments (I think at least some of the carpets are new). The desk staff is disinterested, at best. Also fun, in September they turn off the hotel's central air con, since it is supposedly cool enough. That it is-outside. Inside, where the people are, it was 27 degrees (about 80 degrees F), even with the windows open (which means the mosquitoes got to share the fun too). Breakfast was bad, even by Chinese breakfast standards. On the whole, it's better to get one of the places nearer the Wujiaochang station.

This hotel should be called a hostel. Less than 2 star rating. Dirty in reception and outside is very run down. My photos are a true account of what to expect. Our room smelt of very strong cigarette smoke. The room carpet was awful. Full of stains and clumps of black hair. The bathroom was filthy and I had to wear my flip flops in the shower as full of scum. The skirting was filthy and must of been months of dirt. Thank god it was for one night only , booked by a tour we booked on. Worse place ever. We stayed in a hotel in Xi’an for three nights before this one, which was beautiful, and expected this one to be the same....big mistake. Would never recommend- Avoid at all costs.

We selected this hotel since we had to fly home to Beijing next morning from Hongqiao. The hotel is korean style which is fine. The rooms are ok, not fancy. Clean bathroom. The breakfast is simple, I found all I needed. The sourroundings are ok, not fancy. Its ok for working when you have gone all day and stay the night. Staff is friendly and helpful.
