Jinjiang Inn Shanghai Qingpu

Its a good budget business hotel for Qingpu Industrial district of Shanghai. Its very neat, clean and well maintained hotel. Rooms were small but clean and the staff spoke little english still they were very hospitable. Wifi is free with good speed. Food can be a problem, specially if you are a vegetarian but still they made very good Veg Fried Rice.

Not a hotel that caters to Westerners due to it's relatively remote location relative to downtown Shanghai, but it offers small, clean, very inexpensively priced rooms. Front desk staff does not speak English so bring your translation apps! Skip the limited Chinese breakfast buffet and head to either McDonald's or KFC, both a short 10 minute walk from the hotel (same for Starbucks, though all 3 are in separate directions from hotel). Join their Blue Whale Club if staying 3 or more nights and get room discounts or vouchers for meals or coffee. No wi-fi, but wired internet connection decent. Perfectly located if doing business in the Qingpu district of Shanghai. Elevators employ security feature - only guest room keys can activate elevator for higher floor access.
